KVX2 spider tank. Lowpoly baking and rigging done and I will try out substance painter for the texturing part

23k tris 1x4k albedo/roughness/normal
Zbrush for highres and maya for lowres, baking, rigging and animation.
I used UE4 for the presentation
Finally did some texture work on the district 9 mech.
Some nice new features in Mari 2.6, hdri environment and BRDF shader which
is very helpful for texturing and lookdev.

Don’t really know what to say about this one. Pretty much a quicksculpt and not the best design 🙂
I have done some blendshapes and facialsetup and will do some animation.
I needed a dose of Sci Fi so I paused some other projects and spent two days on this.
50 / 50 new modelling and kitbashing of old stuff. No textures only a procedural gloss for the metal. Will create uvs and make some textures soonish.
Maya/Mudbox for modelling, Rendering with Vray and some tweaks in Nuke.
Textured in Mari

I guess that I will never finish this and the files have been resting on my HDD since late 2010.
I would need to do a lot of compositing tweaks to finalize it but most of all I would like to
redo all of the animations / textures / materials and also do some relighting…
